After winning the 2020 Fleet Europe Remarketing Award with AI Maria, Cars2click director Brian Madsen gave an interview to the latest issue of Fleet Directory magazine from Fleet Europe.

Focused on development and the future, Brian spoke about GEOprincing and GEOmatching, and the award's importance for the team motivation. You can read the interview below.

What is the initiative/development you have realised in the context of remarketing that you are most proud of and why? ​

When starting Cars2click as a car trading company that uses Artificial Intelligence (AI), our mission was to help car sellers and buyers. First, we structured our Datafactory and worked on the data quality. Al helped us solve the challenge with equipment prices. We developed GEOpricing which tells us in which country we will get the best B2B price. GEOmatching profiling of all cars dealers so now we know who to sell to. I am very proud of this because we are making a difference for our partners.

What does the Award mean for your organisation and how will it help you drive forward your strategy and business development in 2021-2022?

We consider the Fleet Europe forum to be one of the most important channels for remarketing in Europe and to be the winner of the 2020 Fleet Europe Car Remarketing Award is very rewarding and motivating for our team so we will push and keep working delivering more solutions.

What is your main tip for peers and customers that are seeking to create vehicle remarketing efficiency?

Work with smart data. If you want to be successful in selling used cars you need smart data to show you where you will get the best price. GEOpricing is a game changer and we all need to start looking at cross-border opportunities.
